Clinicians and medical consumers may share the same vision of a healing outcome, however, may limit it as impossible in certain circumstances. Both medical system factions can garner a higher perspective through nonjudgment, objectivity (unemotional), while remaining open to all possibilities. Clinicians can become aware why many patients worldwide are looking elsewhere for relief of suffering. They can locate articles on research competency as this is the foundation and basis for clinical action. Then, they can correctly peruse diverse biomedical researchers’ articles as to the genesis of common medical conditions. This can help to narrow the gap between managing and curing chronic and “age-related” conditions. As well, patients can learn to perform these same research techniques to adequately discuss with their medical providers. Practitioners and consumers can become aware of the newest clinical trials located on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) website.
How Clinicians and Patients Can Improve the Healthcare Delivery System Experience
By darnell osburn
This Registered Nurse, Legal Nurse Consultant, and Reiki Master is an advocate for licensed practitioners and medical consumers. With each nursing role, her curiosity about nonconventional and ubiquitous medical systems continued to heighten. While working in the intensive care units, nursing homes, and as a nurse case manager, she attempted to assist patients seeking relief from the symptoms of their chronic disease, which their healthcare provider believed was unavailable. Many other events prompted a decade of in-depth biomedical research dovetailing with more current scientific investigations, which yielded common endpoints. These papers, identifying gaps in existing knowledge, expanded awareness of numerous valuable transparent biomedical research findings. This was the impetus for her book Perceiving Wellness beyond Limitations: A Higher Perspective on Healing CLinicians and the Healthcare Delivery System.
